Loulé the Carnival City in Algarve

Loulé was the centre of all Algarvian carnival processions on Sunday as an estimated 35,000 locals and tourists flocked to the city enjoy yet another colourful and musical display as the annual event combined the best of Brazilian samba with Portuguese flavours and traditions.

Loula Carnival 2014The Loulé Carnival is the oldest continuous event Portugal, with over 100 years of celebrations. Thousands of revelers jam the streets.
